Mahou Sensei Negima eps 01 : Asinus in Cathedra

Okay, maybe Xebec listened and didn't screw up the chara design as much as in Love Hina. But not yet time to be glad, this is episode one, probably the one with highest budget. Plus, the chara design in the opening (bad bad opening animation IMO) resembled the design in the promo DVD's.

IIRC, it's Asuna who goes to school with roller skates, which IINM she also used in her part time job sending newspapers. But in the anime, it's Konoka who wore the skates to school. But might be my mistake, going to cross check to the manga after this.

Setsuna is too cold compared to the manga. She seems to distance herself more explicitly here.

And the worst, hair colours are too much. In the manga illustration, most are black, brown or blonde. But Makie got pink (imagine Coco from Boukyaku no Senritsu) and Chisame got green (and she looks like Stellvia's Akira, but not bad). The rest most had reddish colours. Ah, and Negi's sneeze didn't blow all of Asuna's uniform (except the kuma pantsu).

Also Shizuna-sensei, from the chara design, it's not really that hard to guess that her seiyuu is Inoue Kikuko-neechan isn't it ^^;

The reaction, they all freezed for like 15 seconds (or is it 25 seconds ?) not including the eyecatch and commercial break.

School Rumble eps 14

Eri : sou ka. Akira ga inai to susumanai ne. Tenma : Hontou, watashi tachi obaka futari gumi jyaa oteagenai yo ne.

And that dialogue about date...

Eri : Tenma, have you ever seen man's naked body ? *reminiscing to the summer vacation experience at the sea*
Tenma : I've seen it. It's not unusual right ? *looking at the boxer poster behind Eri*
...
Eri : is it with Karasuma-kun ?
Tenma : *all blushing* how do you know that ? *remembering when she watched pro-wrestling with Karasuma*

Why Schrum is great, it's a kanchigai anime that plays around with the dialogues :D

Episode 14 is mostly serious. Eri and Mikoto got into bad terms with each others because Eri said Mikoto is not so cute, because she's jealous about Harima liking Mikoto (again, kanchigai). Actually, sympathized with Eri, she looks like about to cry when hearing Tenma said Harima seems to like Mikoto,

Yakumo is also not so well with Iori (her cat everyone is calling X-Box cat) because she don't understand what the cat thinks.
The scene where Yakumo first met Harima though, is not so bad of impression ^^ So really this is the starting point of Yakumo and Harima's relationship after all. Can't wait for the manga assistant arc.

Also, Imadori and Ichijou (CV : Nanri Yuuka) is so cute XD Too bad Imadori chickens out when unexpectedly (by him) Ichijou agreed to go on a date with the mote-otoko.

Seems like the best quote by Kobayashi Jin is saved for next episode. Kanchigai sare yasui Otoko (Harima). Soshite, shiyasui Otoko (Hanai).

Jinki : Extend eps 01 : Shoujo ga Mita Senjou

Mecha-suki Tsuzaki Aoba is left by her grandmother and she found herself in a moving truck. She remembered being adopted by a man posing as her mother. On arrival to a base, she runaway and fell to the footprint of what seemed like a godzilla mecha footprint.

Mecha suki jousei and the real thing, of course she's awed, like a dream come true. Not for long, because alarm is sounded and she (who's hiding between the coming pilots and mechanics) took the first place found to hide, into one of the engine maintenance door for the left arm.

And we have an ero mecha.

and pilot...

So after a battle with a mecha that has no ammo loaded and no gasoline in the jet thruster engine (and Aoba being outside for half of the time), she calmed down and listen to the explanation from hentai-otoko's father about what happened, and later (read: eps 2), they'll explain why she's brought in in the first place.

By the way, anyone notice ? Seems like now, the cast list is placed lower down after the production staffs. At least this is what seem to be in Jinki, Negima and Starship Operators. But the last two is probably due to the sheer number of the casts used.

And with the chara designer is the same as in Hanaukyou Maid Tai ~la Verite~, Aoba looks like Konoe a bit.

Starship Operators eps 01 : Count Down

Seikai no Monshou, first thing in my mind is that. Well... probably because of the first impression, and all those consoles (it's rare that we have story that focus on peoples outside of the stylish fighter-mecha action pilots).

First of all, really don't understand most, especially the technical talks.

It tells story about Shinon, a candidate for operator at an escort ship, Amaterasu. She's not really interested in the job, especially about engaging in war. She just want to find a good job after graduating, and then find a good man and marry.

They're waiting for their graduation, until a news breaks in. War has finally begun when one of the Kingdom's cruiser, Henrietta engaged in battle against government of planet Kibi (their home IINM). Their ship seems to be heading to war zone also.

Another problem is that, there's possibility that they'll engage in the war also, which is what happened. On the way back, with reporters from the Galaxy Network, Dita Milkov (CV : Nabatame Hitomi, Itou Shizuka's tsukkomi partner ^^; ) giving live report, Amaterasu engaged in battle against an Empire's battleship.

Spent long on considering the situation until Shinon does show her potential as her instructor said, she can be a captain. Direct hit at least one from total of not less than two hit by enemy's rail cannon, they managed to send a blast and finish the battle for now.

So from episode 1, although my Japanese is still not enough to understand this anime fully, I'm glad I decided to follow this one, even if it starts with Itou and Nabatame as the reason. The scene at battlestation is like what I really like (those action in fighter cockpit gets boring don't you think ?). Besides, at the sea, it's battleship that made the history right, not the fighters, they make movies :D
The ending, sung by kotoko is very pretty also, a slow piece, not like in Kannazuki. First listening I don't even realize, different from her usual style.

Mahoraba eps 01 : Youkoso Narutaki-sou e

The prince is bored, so he decided that outside the castle, there must be interesting thing. With that in mind, he sets out. On the way, he met the shark who gave him sketch book, and the Frog Baron who gave him crayon. So, the prince don't go on an adventure, fighting evil, nor dragon. It's just a picnic.

From the studio that brought you Maburaho, although it's not like there's any relationship in the original work, this is Mahoraba.
Err... bad intro.

Other diaries made their summary, so perhaps I won't go too much in there.
The prince, Ryushi is going to Tokyo. Her mother said he can stay at her cousin's place (she's running an apartment). But there, there's Kozue, a very cute girl (the princess) who's running the apartment. Kozue is Ryuji's mother's cousin's daughter (in short, distant relative ?). Kozue is so cute, and remembered Ryushi even if he didn't. Not a day and that already came to his mind. Distant cousins can marry right ? ^^;

Other live in are, Megumi, living next door at room three. Voice is Asano Masumi, the blunt and alchoholic type. Then, there's the Kurosaki, Sayoko (mother) that shows least expression, weird type; and her daughter Asami. There's Tamami, the tsukkomi.

Megumi reminded him not to make Kozue surprised or shocked. And he thought that she had a disease, such as heart attack.

Shock no toki, oHime-sama wa Yuusha-sama henshin ni naru.

As expected, J.C. Staff, the colours are beautiful. Liked it since paying attention at Mahou Tsukai ni Taisetsuna Koto, GPM and Ai Yori Aoshi. So, the picturing of city and the apartment is beautiful also.

Plus, seems like I'm not wrong, the voice for Ryushi is Shirai Ryouko, the CV for Takamachi Miyuki in Lyrical Nanoha ^^ Sounds a bit different.
While Kozue, her voice actress is Arai Satomi, not so new face, she'll also play as Fa Yuiri in Z Gundam (movie) and as Yukino in Starship Operators (the little girl with two coloured hair). The voice is cute, but I still think that she sounds weird using male's words.

Oh, and the ending song is good also, sung by Yonekura Chihiro. Sometime later, from the info at the official website, Itou Shizuka is also in.

School Rumble eps 15

The most depressing arc... Eri and Mikoto is still don't want to talk to each others. Tenma asked them to watch the fireworks, and Eri agreed. But Mikoto had an appointment with her private teacher, a senpai that she loved. This made Eri mad at her even more, because Mikoto choose a man over their friendship.

And it's actually to Mikoto that Eri first opens up. Remembering that time, she went to the place Mikoto told her, a place behind the Yagami Jinja to watch the fireworks. There, they met again. Mikoto is grieving because the person she loved already had a boyfriend.

The background song for this episode, to the scene where Eri met Mikoto again ! Amai Yume the song by unicorn table from Eri's character album. Liked it, with the one in Yakumo's album, Distant Love. By the way, they also sung the opening theme of Jinki : Extend, Fly A Way.

Next episode is the camping arc, and finally Harima got enough courage to tell Tenma to undress (probably the same "courage" of choosing words like what he did with Eri at the sea).

End comment, Eri has the pontential to be avampire don't she.

Starship Operators eps 02 : Trafalgar Crisis

Opening, radiance by kotoko and Kawada Mami (both from I've). I've style song, and the animation is not much, for first half it's photos of the crew on background of Amaterasu.
Then, Amaterasu's status, FGS (Freedom Guard Ship), what does it means actually ? ^^;

On their way back, Amaterasu picks up President Mamiya Tatsuma, leader of Kibi. Next, on their way back home to Kibi, they'll engage againt two of Kingdom's battleship.
Shinon suggested that they run away. They have the president with them, and the status of Amaterasu is a country in exile. The destination is Phoenician, an unarmed neutralized planet (means probably, no military force), and the closest to their position right now.

Wakana and Takai, that guy he had a crush with... aah, hope they can get together soon. But then, when that happened I'm also afraid that the writer will starts pulling tragedies to them -_- But, new thing about her, she's the daughter of a director, her family had a corporation (can't hear the name clearly).

More characters are shown already. The captain, Kanzaki Cisca and Aley (the girl voiced by Kawasumi Ayako) is worried a bit about Shinon, the only one who's against their plan on engaging in the war. Also... they kept mentioning someone that seems to be making plans for this all happening.

Maybe just that they're close because of position. Sanri and Takai are both in the weapon. Akiho and the other one in navigation seems like they're quite close also.

Just in the middle of the talk, a battleship came out of warp field and announced itself, the Trafalgar, enemy ship. Plus the trajectory that they'll engage in battle... that name Trafalgar somehow fits in ^^; Although, actually the battle this time looks like it used the pattern before the battle of Trafalgar itself, both ship pass by each other and starts shooting the cannons.
Trafalgar had that huge plasma cannon, long range one that stopped Amaterasu's opening attack. Outside, they're still trying to finish the repairing for the outer layer that are damaged by the Miles' rail cannon last week. Jinnou Iriki, the last maintenance crew outside got a direct hit by enemy's laser cannon. Together is Takatsugi Shun, Uemura Shin.

Anyway, Trafalgar left a really unpleasant farewell present when it's destroyed. It broadcasted the sound from inside (and no escape pod detected mind you, so that's a hell inside). And yes, I hate psychological warfare a lot.

Miyuri's accent sounds like Minami Omi. Maybe the voice is not so, but the accent really sounds like Minami Omi.
Then, Akiho's cast is the worst in the series so far, the voice is too high pitched.
And last, comparing Kawasumi Ayako and Itou Shizuka playing with roughly same style of voice, I think I like Itou better here :D

Well, the craziest thing is still I think, they're one ship against the whole Kingdom, and to make it worse, they had a reporter giving live report through intergalactic broadcasting system, which of course, channel to the enemy's side also. The producer gave them 30 seconds delay for the broadcast only after Shinon asked about this. He also put thoughts of the characters and about the series not being typically-untypical. :)

title to watch and write about

I'm not yet into the ring, but I guess I'll answer the question by Kabitzhin about what is the reason to write about a series.

First is to pick which to follow My criteria is almost like Matt's, cute and bishoujo anime show. Then some sci-fi (like Starship Operators). The choice list is from Moon Phase's list and news, and Gi-chan's magazines and manga when I visited ^^; (like Kannazuki no Miko)

Then, which anime I'll be able to watch consistently. Not all I have time to watch, like Xenosaga, Tsukuyomi and Ryuukitan X, I only download them and didn't have time to watch. Then there are title that other has been doing and I think I don't have more to really add (like AIR). And lastly... not kurai (like Elfen Lied).

That leaves, titles I like, and can watch to the last episode. Sadly, next semester perhaps for some reasons the number will shrink -_-

Mahou Sensei Negima eps 02 : Omne initium est difficile

Continuing from the previous cliffhanger, Asuna quickly pulls Negi away from Nodoka. She thought that Negi is a Newtype (synonim to some extent as Coordinator for those that only see Seed). Because bad things would happen if Negi's secret as a mage are known, he want to erase Asuna's memory. But due to some mistakes (or inexperience ?) only Kuma got erased.

Maybe assuming that most already read the manga, many characters are introduced already. Last episode they show Konoka and Setsuna's existing relationship (although it's not that cold in manga I think) and now they introduced that Eva got a relationship with Negi.

Negi helped Asuna, he's going to read Takamichi's mind and thought about Asuna. The key question to trigger the thought... Takamichi, Asuna-san no koto dou omou ? He's asking it directly anyway ^^;
He talked a lot about Asuna's good side, but what in his mind is actually no-pan(tsu). Then Negi tried again, the result are Kuma pan.

Hope next episode Nodoka would soon get her new haircut.

Now how come she found 65 in a night and I never found even one.

Jinki: Extend eps 02 : Namida no ato

Opening song, Fly A Way by Unicorn Table, like they style. Different style, but for song alone I still prefer Sora (from Jinki Aoban CD). The animation is... can say minimal, much are taken from the battle at episode 1.

The old man are Ogawara Kenta, and hentai-yuukaihan is his son, Ryouhei. The creature they fought before are Ancient-Jinki (人機). Then the robot they use are Moribito, machine made by immitating those ancient Jinki. The organization they joined are called Anhell.

Then, they met with Shizuka, Tsuzaki Shizuka, Aoba's mother. *remembering the story about Shizuka and her boyfriend Hakuya at chapter 30 ~ 32* Aaaaargh !!! Kurai !

That line above, far away spoiler, but just want to vent out my grief that two of my most expected anime this season (this, and Starship Operators) turns out having very high kurai potential. It might explains a lot about how Kenta and the staffs are seeing the situation.

To not live with her mother, Aoba choose to stay with the workers at Anhell, even if the peoples there are all men. Also she want to be near that robot. The next morning, Aoba go and want to join the crew. Only that her expertise are... pla-model building ^^;

They assigned her to do the laundry and cooking, and there she had her second encounter with fate... in shape of a manual book. Aoba wash with it, cooks with it, bath with it, sleep with it. The quickly she learn to operate Jinki.
This proves as a good thing. She had the instict like Newtypes. And when Kenta-san is hurt, he asked her to replace him as pilot.

Mahoraba eps 02 : Ooya-san no himitsu

Meet the whole casts.

My fave so far is definitely yuusha-hime, Saki.
Shiratori (white) realized that when shocked, the cute and caring Aoba Kozue (blue) changed into kurenai sekishuu, Akasaka Saki (red). Hmm... same coloring scheme as in Jinki Extend ^^; The other one, loli Kanazawa Nanako (golden colour).

How many peoples did she have in her head ? only five, or more ?

Saki even scolded him for not being like man. His face is like woman, his name, Shiratori is like girl's name, and he's born September 9th, Virgo.

I think I finally catch what Sayoko and Asami is. They're mother and daughter that has to sustain their living cost by making artificial flowers. Usually (supposedly) angsty picturing, but somehow... Oh well, but I like Sayoko, she reminded me of Machi from Nagasarete Airantou, and both can sleep with their eyes opens. Even Asami looks a bit like Ayane, twin tail girl.

Starship Operators eps 03 : Call From Home

People die in war, seems like that hit the crew. Cisca heavily objects Aley's request to work outside to fix the engine, considering the solar wind and she could die because of radiation. She don't care, and ship doctor, Minase allowed her with conditions.
Outside, she works with Takai (the fire control chief and Sanri's crush).
Then, the worries came true. Phoenician's sun showed sign of solar flare.

Why Aley looks like she's a person that want a revenge. Seems like her father is the captain of the cruiser Miles, that was destroyed by the Kingdom. Now the worrying thing, does Takai know every private family life of the girls on board ?

Call From Home is from Wakana Gen, Sanri's father and chairman of Wakana Rare Metal company. He asked the crew to return home, but Sanri refused, they had a contract with Galactic Network, and don't want to accept her father's offer to help ending the contract.
Moreover, the crew won't be charged for treachery, except the ring leaders of this mutiny.

Those five would most likely be executed ?

The crew is getting restless about everything that happened. Three crew died in war, and Takai is almost dead by the solar flare. Now added with this, they everyone is re-thinking about continuing the war.

Aley managed to convince Sanri to say her feeling, he told her that if she kept feeling enough just by being close, then one day the person she loved would go away. And so... the shy girl made her kokuhaku broadcasted life to the whole galaxy, she came aboard Amaterasu because she loved Takai, and don't want to leave. And that's it, the crew accepted the decision, and if Sanri could say such thing, why can't they.

The star is definitely Sanri this time. But Noto Mamiko sounds different, she does when playing as Yakumo in School Rumble 16 also. Anyone knows why ? or is it just my feeling ?

Jinki: Extend eps 03 : Shitsu to Ryou

The opening would consist of scenes from previous episode and this episode. Don't know if it'll be like this to the end or only to some episodes. it features the mother and daughter (not really) Kousaka Minami and Rui.

Due to the storytelling, it's more pleasant to split it to this two parts. One is Aoba's story (blue) and another is Akao's story (red).

Blue Side

After the battle, Kenta-san are heavily injured, he might not be able to move his arm anymore. Everyone is sad, and Aoba, for doing such dangerous thing as entering the Jinki without permission is taking the blame.

In other place, we met again with the girl that spied Aoba, Rui. She's a cold girl living together with Minami in a tent. They went to pick up Aoba who's drenched in rain.
Minami (CV: Takamori Yoshino) is chief of recovery team, outgoing oneechan-chara and talk a lot to the level that could be annoying for those not really tolerating.
Rui (CV: Tamura Yukari) is the other side, anti-social to the level that could be annoying for those not really tolerating.

To help Aoba, they take her to a lake and play a bit, then slept together naked in open air, and get to know each others better. Minami liked Kenta, while Rui is...
Hmm... toshi totteru kuse ni, nakimushi ne...
sharp tongued and her crab pincher hairpin is still alive, so might as well call her Lobster head Rui :D.

Rui challenged Aoba for a fight with Jinki, Aoba in Moribito and Rui in her Type72 in a soccer game. That's being said, Rui is aiming to see Aoba's stamina. Aoba is not from military background, or used to pilot Jinki, so she's quickly exhausted. But at the last minute, she used her newtype ability and somehow won the game.

The other half ( which somebody say is three years after ), Akao is taken by a Jinki to a house. Might be true it's three years after, beside, Rui seems more otona-ppoi and Minami's hair is longer. There, she met the crew, Kousaka Minami, Kousaka Rui, Elny Tachibana ( the one playing soccer, CV: Kawakami Tomoko ) and Kawamoto Satsuki ( the girl in wafuku and apron, CV: Nonaka Ai ). All three had an emblem ( looks like the design is taken from kitsune mask made of leaf ) that's shown at the next episode title. Akao had it on her spear, Elny had it at her left feet ( for knee protector ? ) and Satsuki put it on her apron. Rui's not clear where she put it. At one of Comic Gum's cover, sheAoba had it on her rightleft arm. Rui had her's on her right leg, near her feet, hidden by her clothes.

That's the Japan base, and outside, a Koudai Jinki is appearing downtown.

Shiva is watching also. It's a bit worrying that Shiva could be Aoba in the future ? ^^;

There's Rui also, she looks better, but not clear enough for a clean shot.

About Rui's crab pincher, there's a really sad story behind it actually. It goes back to when Rui is still very young. That time, she's alone in Venezuela's Angel base, her only friend is Jirou-kun ( Arma Jirou-kun, her armadillo, named right when Aoba asked for name ).

Jirou is attacked by a crab, and Rui fights a draw with it. They then became sworn friend. So, why does the crab pincher hairpin ?
Apparently, later at different place, Minami met the crab, kills it and make a soup she have for lunch with Rui. With painful heart, Rui ate it and to remember her friend, she used the pincher as hairpin.

So, one, Rui had a lot of reason to hate Minami, like when she tricked her with Ramune ( Japanese soft drink with ball in the bottleneck ) that got Rui's tongue stuck in it. Two, that thing is haunted by restless ghost ^^;

Mahou Sensei Negima eps 03 : Amantes, amentes

A lot of Nodoka, yes. Seems like it's clear who's my fave chara here isn't it ^^; The other one is Setsuna, but she starts shining at the Kyoto arc.

Finally they introduced Genshi Tenson, master of the Kun Lun mountain's sennin principal Konoe of the Mahora school. Also formally introducing Minamoto Shizuna, the doctor, which in a part ( other than sound ) reminds about Aozaki Touko ^^;

The Engrish is horrible... but oh well, we can skip it. But the voice acting for some of the new (not debut) seiyuu is good. I like Minakawa Junko (Ayaka) and Itou Shizuka (Misa), and especially Noto Mamiko (Nodoka), she made Honya-chan even cuter ~__~

Takahata already told about Negi's life also, that he only live with his sister. Seems like Asuna is softing on him... or not.

Next episode is the ofuro episode.

Mahoraba eps 03 : Taisetsuna Basho

If Nanako's voice could be colder, she's sound like Kaneda Tomoko playing as Leticia in Madlax. On second thought... that role really reminds me of Kaneda Tomoko ^^;

Waai ! Waai ! They keep the 4koma inserts !

Jikou shoukai, my fave chara... by Tamami.

Sayoko-san wa desu ne, mukuchi de buaisou de mukiryoku de bukiyou de mukeikaku de...
Maa... hitokoto de ieba tenkeiten na dame ningen desu ne...

Sayoko-san is silent, unsociable, lethargic, clumsy, haphazzard...
In a word, a useless person.

Starship Operators ep 04 : Final Answer

Takai, is troubled much by the other crew asking him about how he'll answer that galactic-wide live announced kokuhaku from Sanri. In the other hand, Renna, Shinon's silent mail friend is acting suspicious, she mentioned about lack of supplies that could hindrance the cruise, but to who ?

Next battle is against the battleship Abschiel, newest type stealth battleship and... the one that do pre-emptive attack, so their way of work is move silently and gave one fatal hit to the target craft. So Shinon suggest to find the ship first and kill it. Sensors are useless, so they used Miyuri's specialty, the star observation room Southern Cross and look at the light waves.
But Abschiel seems to be able to not emitting any light or radiation, so seeking it is useless. Next plan, they move and use the curtain of light of Orion, they plan looking for distortion by comparing it to older record before Abschiel arrived. It's a long tiring work, until Shinon find another plan. Shoot the torpedoes and create backlight to see the Abschiel. That one works, Abschiel is found and helped by Aesop's calculation about the course, they sent one blast of the main plasma cannon, right at the cannon.

Again, the raw difficulity is up to that of eps 1, much technical terms, like everytime Shinon is making plans.
Next episode is a two part story. Umm... maybe I'll wait a week and watch both rather than seeing cliffhanger.

Sanri is so stiff doesn't she, but she's gathering more courage to talk to the person she loved, and Takai seems to starts trying to reply to that feeling also, I hope. But again, those two is so sweet... they scream in horror that they'll be plot device to cause a tragedy ! *is really frustrated*

On questioning matter, can't the Abschiel do some evasive manouver ? They can detect such attack coming don't they ? Or is it their compromise of being totally stealth, they're attacking blind. But then, it's rather impossible since they had to plan their course towards Amaterasu to make the attack. Same thing as that torpedo behind their ship, that captain doesn't looks like an inexperienced captain.

Dragon Knights XV

Umm... after jumping to the vortex Sabel made, the knights arrived at Cairnadila. Then there's a lot of meeting between old characters.

But I'll cut the summary, just that after those more serious moments, some more stupid moments are showing up again, like Does Rune like little girls ? or how boke Sabel is. Seeing him reminds me of Harima and his pet ^^;

New chara includes Rim Kana, that ( said this a lot ) looks more otona-ppoi. Her seireizoku form is not so childish either, but this one sure looks in a way sexier :D

Jinki:Extend book 2, 3 and chapter 034

Continuing the story from book 1, Ryouhei and Elny went to go and find Mel J who stole Elny's Schneiger. After that, they went to Hachisou's base at space using Schneiger ( that's the only Jinki they have that can fly in the sky and to space ). While at the base, Akao who's caught is becoming subject for Hachisou's research about 血族 and being victim of attempted rape for the second time already ( the mangaka seems to like this -_-; ) in less than two books time.

But she's then saved by Shiva, the girl that looks a lot like Aoba ( she's never been shown yet in the manga other than a shadow and in Akao's dream ). Shiva is a bit weird, but when she fights with Ryouhei, she does call him "Ryou-niichan" like Aoba.
From Akao's dreams also, seems like both live together when they're children.

Shiva is good, she fought Ryouhei and even throw him away using her Alpha after landing a kiss. But both her and Ryou know she's not Aoba. Ryouhei know from her fighting style, and she doesn't want to be thought as the same person as Aoba either.

In the end, Akao got the Moribito and escape from the Hachisou's base, at the third book after beating another "stage boss" chara that guard the exit, that perv that likes to rape pilots.

His Jinki is stronge in aerial battle, but when they arrived at the surface, it's Rui and Satsuki who's having payback time to that guy. Rui cut his Jinki to pieces with her mecha, Nana-Two Light.

He sent out some Ancient-Jinki with tentacles that snaked into the cockpit and sprayed water that melt the pilots' "plug suit" ( I think they call it 人工 アルファー ). Hentai technology indeed, tentacle and water to melt girls' clothes ^^;
Shiva came and saved them, but she want to play with Akao and her Moribito.

It's either a lot of difference already, or is it a lot of mystery not cleared yet. At the manga itself Jinki : Extend, Aoba first showed again ( not just shadow ) I think at the end of book 5, already a powerful Jinki pilot. Then book 6 and up to the newest is still talking about flashback at Southern America when they're starting to change the original cockpit system ( like seen in anime ) to those specialized for ketsuzoku pilots ( like the one used in early episode 1 ), and probably explains why the South America's Anhell base is isolated in war.

Oh, and another interesting thing is, the mecha Aoba fight in the early episode 1 ( that Akao used ) looks a lot like Shiva's Jinki she used in book3, and it's Akao who fights her in Moribito.

First of all, I'd like to say sorry for a mistake. Apparently like some other titles owned by Enix, Jinki is also serialized in Enix's magazine ( before Square-Enix ). And then moved to Mag-Garden. With that, there's slight change in the title, like Mamotte Shugogetten → Mamotte Shugogetten Retrouvailez; Matantei Loki → Matantei Loki Ragnarok; and Jinki → Jinki:Extend. From the cover scans, seems like it told story about Aoba, so likely that the anime is made based on the story in Jinki instead of the Extend version.

Rozen Maiden phase 24

Kanaria ( the new chara ) has tried 72 times to enter the Sakurada residence to get the three dolls' Rosa Mystica. But she keeps failing. And today, she's having a picnic at Jun's house's backyard. Then, a crow stole her tamagoyaki.
Of course, the ( self-proclaimed ) smartest doll in Rozen Maiden series can't be troubled just by such a small thing right ? So she continued the plan, waiting for the window of the living room to open.

She don't know that Nori is out for Lacrosse club's training, so only Jun and the dolls are home.

Suiseiseki is jealous, because even if Jun is her master, he always spend his time with Shinku. So Suiseiseki make a plan, she dragged Hina to help her do the cleaning, and they have hard time with the vacuum cleaner ( dubbed Orochi no Kami when it goes berserk ). She decided better to use the old way ( broom and cloth ).

Then they make omelette. They do try hard, only that the dolls don't know how to cook. Hina put all kind of sweets into the omelette and in the end, it's not an edible thing.
Jun came home with pizza, Pizza Banzai !

While outside, Kanaria, who's starving smelled Suiseiseki's failed omelette and want to eat it. Poor thing, she's like a stray dog scrapping for food -_- But as before, it's taken away by that crow again ^^;
